DeJuan Dayshawn Antoine, a 26-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 27, 2013, in New Orleans, LA. The circumstances surrounding his death have been the subject of extensive investigation and legal scrutiny. DeJuan, affectionately known as "Owie" by his loved ones, was the beloved son of Phyllis Antoine and Rufus Veal, Sr., and had a large family that included numerous siblings.
