Osby Garett Jr., aged 34, was killed on October 9, 2016, in Detroit, Michigan. Garett was fatally shot during an incident on Detroit's west side. The homicide took place at around 4:20 p.m. on Fenkell Avenue, between Freeland and Ardmore Streets. According to reports, Garett was shot in broad daylight while walking down the sidewalk.
