Reginald Wess, a 50-year-old man from Shreveport, Louisiana, was tragically shot multiple times inside a residence in the 100 block of South Greenbrook Loop on January 16, 2015. Wess was the boyfriend of McKinley Trumann Efferson's mother, Mattie Efferson. The incident occurred between 2:00 and 3:00 a.m., when Wess was dressed in his work uniform and preparing for his early morning shift.
McKinley Trumann Efferson, who was 23 years old at the time, was arrested and accused of the murder.
