In the early hours of a Saturday in New Orleans, the life of a promising young Black / African American man, Brian Yupman Jones, was tragically cut short. On June 6, 2015, just after midnight, the 22-year-old was discovered in the driver's seat of a gray 2010 Honda Civic in the 7200 block of Willow Brae Drive. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and his death was classified as a homicide.
