On a tragic Friday, October 9, 2015, Quandell Robert Beard, a 34-year-old male, was killed in a double homicide in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. The violent incident also resulted in the death of 33-year-old Elliot Smith. Both men were victims of gun violence in what investigators later determined to be a crime connected to a drug trafficking operation.
