On an autumn day in St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, 31-year-old Quint Carrier, a male resident of Opelousas, was found deceased in his vehicle. The date was October 24, 2015, and the car was discovered in a ditch near the Airport Quick Stop on Highway 749. An investigation by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Department soon revealed that Carrier had been the victim of a shooting.
