Tyron Hasty, a 17-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on January 17, 2016, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred at approximately 9:12 p.m. in the 1600 block of Joliet Street in the Carrollton neighborhood. According to the Orleans Coroner’s Office, Hasty was shot multiple times, leading to his untimely death.
