Reginald Cody Wright, affectionately known as "Cody," was a 22-year-old male of African American ethnicity who lived in Avondale, Louisiana. On January 24, 2016, Cody was found shot in the 300 block of Federal Street in New Orleans. He was immediately transported to the hospital, but despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries on February 27, 2016.
