On May 3, 2017, a tragic incident occurred in Detroit, Michigan, involving the death of a 4-year-old girl named Ivy Yurkus. The male suspect, Jonathan Christopher Jones, born on March 26, 1993, was convicted in connection with this case. Jones, who was 24 years old at the time, was found guilty of first-degree felony murder and first-degree child abuse.
