On the evening of February 22, 2014, 20-year-old Christopher Franklin was tragically shot and killed in Long Beach, California. The incident occurred around 5:40 p.m. on Andy Street. Responding to a call of shots fired, Long Beach police found Franklin lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his upper body. Despite efforts from paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
