In the late evening hours of September 5, 2017, a violent double homicide occurred at a residence in the 2000 block of Deacon Street, located near Visger Street in southwest Detroit, Michigan. The incident claimed the lives of two individuals who were inside the home at the time. One of the victims was Daniel Brown, a 30-year-old White male, who was present in the house along with a second victim, 29-year-old Sophia Wilson. Wilson was three months pregnant at the time of the shooting.
