Deshaun Singleton, a 17-year-old African American male from Violet, Louisiana, was tragically killed on October 15, 2018. The incident occurred just before 9 p.m. when deputies on patrol heard gunshots coming from the area of Daniel and Stacie Drives. Upon arrival, they found a vehicle that had crashed into an electrical pole in the 3000 block of Daniel Drive.
