In a tragic turn of events stemming from a family dispute, 47-year-old Terry Lee, a male resident of Greenwood, Louisiana, was killed on March 3, 2019. The incident unfolded at the home of his 76-year-old cousin, Jerold Wayne Barron, where a disagreement over living arrangements escalated with fatal consequences.
According to the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office, the argument between the cousins culminated in Barron shooting Lee once in the chest. Lee died at the scene from the gunshot wound. Responding deputies quickly identified Barron as the suspect and took him into custody without incident.
Following the investigation, Jerold Wayne Barron was arrested and charged with second-degree murder in connection with his cousin's death.
