Ronald "Pookie" Eddington III, a 21-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on September 4, 2019, in Marrero, Louisiana. He was killed in a quadruple shooting incident at a residence on Sorbonne Drive. The Jefferson Parish Coroner confirmed that Ronald was one of the victims, alongside his 7-year-old sister, Mekia Smith. Two other individuals, an 11-year-old girl and an 18-year-old, were also injured in the shooting.
