James Estem, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 11, 2020, in New Orleans, LA. The incident occurred during a drive-by shooting in the Fisher neighborhood of Algiers. James and his younger brother, 3-year-old Ishaia Adams, were outside when gunfire erupted. Their mother, Temeka Estem, heard the shots and rushed to her sons.
