Roderick Shamichael Dewayne Coleman, a 19-year-old African American male from Shreveport, Louisiana, was tragically killed on August 23, 2020, in Plain Dealing, Louisiana. Coleman was attending a large gathering at a residence in the 400 block of Birch Street when he was shot. The incident occurred early in the morning, and Coleman was taken to Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport, where he succumbed to his injuries.
