On a Wednesday afternoon, February 21, 2007, the life of a 21-year-old African-American man named Andrew Keith was cut short in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston. At approximately 3:26 p.m., police responded to calls of a person shot at the intersection of Columbia Road and Devon Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered Keith suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
