On December 14, 2021, 60-year-old Nolan Obey, a Black male, was fatally shot in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred at an apartment complex on Chef Menteur Highway, where authorities discovered two men dead from gunshot wounds. The other victim was identified as 17-year-old Jarwine Darnell McMaster.
