On January 1, 2022, at approximately 2:20 a.m., Shreveport police responded to reports of a shooting at a residence in the 300 block of East 72nd Street in the Cedar Grove neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered 43-year-old Christopher Lee, a male victim, who had been shot multiple times. He was transported to Ochsner LSU Health Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:05 a.m.
