In the quiet community of New Roads, Louisiana, a domestic dispute escalated into a tragedy that claimed the life of 52-year-old Veronica Cobb. On a Thursday evening in February 2022, officers were called to a residence on St. Mary Street where they discovered a grim scene. Veronica Cobb had been shot and killed by her husband, 61-year-old James Cobb, in what authorities described as an attempted murder-suicide.
