Veronica Cobb, a 52-year-old woman from New Roads, Louisiana, tragically lost her life on February 24, 2022. The incident occurred at her home on St. Mary Street, where her husband, James Cobb, allegedly shot her during a domestic dispute. Following the shooting, James Cobb attempted to take his own life but survived, as the bullet only grazed his chin. He was later taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder.
