In the early hours of Friday, March 20, 2009, the life of 36-year-old Edward Dennis, an African-American man from Boston, was tragically cut short. Just before 1 a.m., officers from Area D-4 of the Boston Police Department responded to a call reporting shots fired in the vicinity of Windsor and Walker Streets in the South End/Lower Roxbury area. Upon their arrival, they discovered a grim scene.
