On a quiet Monday morning in Boston, the an unassuming building on Brookledge Street would become the scene of a tragedy that remains a somber memory for the community. On March 23, 2009, a call was made to the Boston Police Department, leading them to the discovery of a deceased individual. The victim was soon identified as Eduardo Gomez, a 68-year-old Hispanic male resident of Roxbury. The initial response from officers assigned to Area B-2 quickly turned into a homicide investigation.
