Bevan James Jones Sr., a 49-year-old African American man from Gretna, LA, was called home on July 21, 2022. He was born on November 2, 1972, in New Orleans, LA, and was a proud graduate of West Jefferson High School. Bevan served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps and was known for his incredible sense of humor and love for bringing smiles to others. He was a beloved member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Gretna, LA.
