On the evening of April 19, 2010, a burst of gunfire shattered the night on Irma Street in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, leaving a young man's life cut tragically short. Troy Nock, a 22-year-old African-American male, was found suffering from a gunshot wound around 6:56 p.m. Responding officers rushed to the scene, and Nock was quickly transported to Boston Medical Center, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
