On the evening of April 19, 2010, 22-year-old Troy Nock was shot and killed in Dorchester, Boston. The incident occurred at approximately 7 p.m. at 20 Irma Street. Responding officers found Nock suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Boston Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. His murder occurred in an area that had been experiencing a surge in violence, with multiple shootings reported in the months leading up to his death.
