Mark Clark, a 22-year-old African American male, was an activist and member of the Black Panther Party (BPP). He was born on June 28, 1947, in Peoria, Illinois, and became deeply involved in civil rights activism from a young age. On December 4, 1969, Mark Clark was killed during a predawn raid by the Chicago Police Department at an apartment in Chicago, Illinois. This raid also resulted in the death of Fred Hampton, the 21-year-old chairman of the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party. ...
