Asher Gruenberg, a 50-year-old man from Skokie, Illinois, was tragically killed on November 18, 1974. He had worked for a steel company before joining a construction business. His death was part of a series of violent crimes committed by Gary Duane Rardon, a convicted serial killer and spree killer.
