Charles Nicoletti, a 60-year-old Italian-American mobster, was a notorious hitman for the Chicago Outfit. He was known for his ruthlessness and efficiency, earning the nickname "Chuckie the Typewriter." On March 29, 1977, Nicoletti was murdered in Northlake, Illinois. He was shot three times in the back of the head while sitting in his Oldsmobile in the parking lot of the Golden Horns Restaurant.
