Terri Lynn Johnson, a 19-year-old white female from Joliet, Illinois, was tragically found shot to death on July 2, 1983, near the Will-Cook County line. Her body was discovered alongside that of Kenneth Chancellor, a 34-year-old Lockport businessman. Both victims were found inside Chancellor's car, which was parked in a field. The brutal nature of their deaths shocked the local community and prompted an intense investigation.
