Robert Edward Wehrheim, a 47-year-old automotive mechanic from Hanover Park, Illinois, tragically lost his life on February 5, 2001, at the Navistar International Corp. plant in Melrose Park. Wehrheim, who was known for his passion for rebuilding antique radios and playing drums at his church, was fatally shot by William D. Baker, a former employee of the plant.
