Blake Philip Vaughn, an 8-year-old boy from Channahon Township, Illinois, tragically died on June 14, 2007. Blake, along with his mother, Kimberly Ellen Vaughn, and his two sisters, Abigayle Elizabeth Vaughn, 12, and Cassandra Ellen Vaughn, 11, were found shot to death in the family’s SUV on a service road near Interstate 55. The family was discovered early in the morning after a passerby called 911. Blake, a young Caucasian boy, was known for his love of reading and his photographic memory.
