Connie Woolfolk, a 37-year-old African American woman from Flossmoor, Illinois, was tragically killed on February 2, 2008, during a robbery at a Lane Bryant store in Tinley Park, Illinois. Woolfolk, a devoted single mother of two boys, was at the store looking for an outfit for a planned night out with friends. She was one of five women who were fatally shot in the incident, which has since become known as the Lane Bryant shooting.
