Fara Diagne, a 25-year-old man, was fatally shot on June 17, 2011, in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood. The shooting took place around 8:45 p.m. near 453 Blue Hill Avenue, a busy area at the time. Diagne was standing on the sidewalk with two other men when a group ran toward them, prompting Diagne and his companions to flee.
