In the summer of 2011, the life of 39-year-old Lashon J. Washington, an African-American man from Dorchester, Massachusetts, was tragically cut short. On the fifth of July, Washington, affectionately known as "Disco," was found murdered in front of 310 Columbia Road in Dorchester.
