Jalen JaJa Stogner, a 17-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 31, 2012, in Chicago, IL. Jalen was shot and killed in front of his mother and two younger brothers outside a laundromat in the Back of the Yards neighborhood. The incident occurred while Jalen was helping his mother unload laundry from their car.
