Elijah Moore, a 41-year-old African American man, was fatally shot in the chest on March 16, 2015, outside the Dolphin nightclub in Chicago's Bucktown neighborhood. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. after a fight that started inside the club spilled out onto the street near Ashland and Webster. Alongside Moore, Deonta Jackson, a 35-year-old African American man, was also killed, and a third victim, a 26-year-old man, was wounded in the wrist and taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital.
