On a street corner where Roxbury and Dorchester meet, the life of Charles Webb, a 40-year-old African-American man, was cut short on the night of November 12, 2011. Webb had just been on the phone with his fiancée, telling her he was moments away from her Nazing Street home. Suddenly, the sound of three gunshots pierced the night air.
