Javan Boyd, a 28-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on February 22, 2014, in Chicago, Illinois. Boyd, who worked as a part-time livery driver, was waiting for a customer in his vehicle around 4 a.m. in the 3700 block of South Princeton Avenue when he was approached by a gunman.
