Arnold Dearies, a 26-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on August 11, 2014, in Chicago, IL. He was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting in the Englewood neighborhood. Dearies was in the 7100 block of South Green Street when a white car drove past and someone inside opened fire. He was shot in the side and twice in his right leg. Despite being rushed to Christ Medical Center, he was pronounced dead at 7:49 p.m.
