On an autumn evening in Boston, the life of a young African-American man, Jaquan Mitchell, was tragically cut short. On October 5, 2012, in the city's Roxbury neighborhood, the 20-year-old male was shot at 10 Trotter Court. When Boston Police responded to the scene, they found Mitchell suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the location.
