On the evening of December 13, 2012, a burst of gunfire shattered the calm on Elmont Street in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston. When police responded to the scene, they found 23-year-old Ronald Dias suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, leaving a community in shock and a family grasping for answers. Dias was a Hispanic male.
