On November 29, 2014, 20-year-old Deangelo D. Williams was found deceased in the 3500 block of Piggot Avenue in unincorporated East St. Louis, Illinois. Upon arrival, deputies discovered that Deangelo D. Williams had suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the face.

In the days following the incident, the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis was activated to investigate the homicide. Their efforts led to the arrest of two individuals: Romerio Ellington of Centerville and Javonta Pitts of East ...
