On April 4, 2023, Ralen T. Liverpool, a 21-year-old resident of Fairview Heights, Illinois, was fatally shot in Cahokia Heights, Illinois. The incident occurred around 11:22 PM when police officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of 73rd Street and Glenwood Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found Ralen Liverpool inside his vehicle, where he had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
