On a late summer evening in Boston, tragedy struck the Dorchester neighborhood. Jody Hargrove, a 42-year-old African-American man, was fatally shot on September 7, 2013. The incident occurred shortly before 10 p.m. near the intersection of Blue Hill Avenue and Castlegate Road.
