Nicole Marie Towns, a 19-year-old African American woman, was tragically killed on April 24, 2015, in Chicago, Illinois. Nicole was attending a party on the Far South Side of Chicago when a gunman, who had been previously kicked out of the party, returned and opened fire. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. in the 9300 block of South LaSalle. Nicole was shot in the side and was pronounced dead at the scene.
