Joel Cervantes, a 29-year-old Hispanic male, was found dead on July 17, 2015, in his home in the Mayfair neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The tragic incident also claimed the lives of his brother, Roberto Cervantes, 38, and their father, Jesus Cervantes, 72. The three men were discovered during a well-being check conducted by the police around 5:25 p.m. on that fateful day. The neighborhood was in shock as the family was well-known and regarded as friendly and hardworking by their neighbors.
