Jamaries Niarre Jones, a 27-year-old man from Austin, Chicago, was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting on April 9, 2025. The incident occurred at approximately 4:10 p.m. on the sidewalk in the 300 block of North Cicero Avenue, near a church in the Austin neighborhood.
