Paul Williams, a 43-year-old African American man, tragically lost his life on April 18, 2021, in Chicago, Illinois. His death was a result of a violent incident that occurred at a JJ Fish and Chicken restaurant on the South Side of Chicago. Williams, along with another victim, David Swick, was fatally shot by Mehdi Medellel, a 42-year-old restaurant employee.
