Cedric Wright, a 17-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on February 24, 2019, in the South Side Gresham neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. inside an apartment located in the 800 block of West 77th Street. According to reports, Cedric was involved in an argument with two males he knew when the situation escalated, and he was shot in the head.
