Ira Montford, a 25-year-old male from Peoria, Illinois, tragically passed away on July 21, 2015, at his residence. Born on February 5, 1990, in Trenton, New Jersey, Ira was known for his laid-back personality and love for his family, especially his children. He worked at Avanti's and was fond of his Honda and boat, which he affectionately called his yacht. Ira was also passionate about music, fishing, and video games.
Unfortunately, Ira's life was cut short due to a shooting incident. The Peoria Police Department reported multiple shooting incidents in 2015, including Ira's case. The community was deeply affected by his death, and a rally was held downtown to celebrate his life and mourn his loss. However, details about arrests, suspects, or specific investigations related to his death were not disclosed in the sources available.
Ira's family, including his mother, grandmother, fiancée, and two sons, were left to cherish his precious memories. His funeral was held at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, and he was laid to rest in the Lutheran Cemetery.
It's a heartbreaking story, and my condolences go out to his family and friends.
