Tyris R. Jackson, a 35-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on August 31, 2015, in the Kenwood neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. while Jackson was walking in the 4900 block of South Drexel Boulevard.
